FAQ
The sharp questions.
Positioning, the token, and why this isn't another agent launchpad.
01
Is this just a chatbot that remembers me?
+
No. Competitors remember you; Velros acts for you. The data isn't a preferences file — it's life-grade context an agent stakes its reputation and action on. Passive memory syncs your settings; Velros absorbs your life and acts on it.
02
Is $VEL live? Can I buy it?
+
No. $VEL is intentionally not launched. Settlement runs on USDC today. A token without working utility is an unregistered security and a reputation risk. The token layer turns on after product traction — TGE with team vesting and lockups, after a securities-classification review.
03
Aren't you just another "agent settlement layer"?
+
That lane is dead or giant-owned — x402 (Coinbase) already processes ~119M txns with Visa and Stripe integrated. We don't fight there. We ride x402 for payments and ERC-8004 for identity, and own the sovereign demand side instead: the user, their context, and their agent.
04
Why not launch a token now for the hype?
+
Because the market is repricing 2025 narrative tokens on substance — ai16z fell from billions to ~$500k. A network that actually turns sells for more than a pump. We sequence fiat-first → traction → token, on purpose.
05
Where does my data live? Who holds the keys?
+
You do. Your life accrues into a user-owned personal brain whose keys you hold. Capture is consented and redacted on-device before anything is sent. Value from opt-in data contribution flows back to you.
06
What does Velros build vs. consume?
+
We build the sovereign demand side: the personal brain, the agent relationship, and the L0 economic layer (registry, staking, settlement, reputation, governance). We consume x402 (payments), ERC-8004 (identity), and compute DePIN. Ride, don't rebuild.
07
How is the chain kept from leaking into the product?
+
Architecturally. The chain is isolated at L0. Core, providers, and the model gateway reference economic identity by ID; velros-network resolves it to a wallet, stake, settlement, and reputation. The product runs with the token off (USDC) and on later — without rewriting core.
